The colors of the desertThe heat was nothing new in the world and nothing new to the being calling this land their own. It was something that had to be accepted and while it burnt away the lives of those not prepared for life in the desert, it was the natural habitat of the small beating hearts buried in the sand. But while even in this area silence was not given as the sand was whispering for eternity now, these sounds could not be heard today. The strong heartbeat and heavy breathing of a being far whose ancestors were far older than the desert itself.
The dark brown shape, decorated with black and brown shapes, could be seen from miles away, as the light colored sand did not well hiding it. But it had no reason to hide itself, as it was not hunting, not seeking, not trying to hide. This being was just something you would call a passer-by. The desert happened to be between him and his destiny and so his claws moved the sand as he walked over the ground, not trying to fly. He had no rush getting to his desti

Pursuit Through the PassThe wyvern’s feet sank deep into the snow as they reached forward with winged arms, clawing their way up the steep and snowy slope. The wind howled between the mountains, making flight impossible for any but those foolish enough to try. The rocky mountainsides would be very unforgiving when they caught the victims of the wind. Snowflakes flew into their eyes, stinging as they melted.
Growling, they continued, refusing to let the storm best them. The sound of rocks falling thundered in the distance, the sound of a storm on land. Up ahead, through the wind and snow, a dark shape moved before them, struggling in the elements to keep heading up the path in the pass.
They were gaining. Increasing their speed, they clawed their way forward, their breath forming small clouds. The dark shape paused momentarily, its horned head turning to look behind them. Quickly spinning back around it hurried on, renewed panic in its movements. Now and then it would slip, but it was quick to regain its
