Its funny how Russia has seemingly returned to the White. I guess they won after all?

Yeah, it looks like the White Army from the Russian Civil War got what they wanted in the end, the fall of the Soviet Union and the defeat and discrediting of their Bolshevik enemies......

Yes, I think about that sometimes. I also think about Russia now having the highest concentration of neo-nazis in the world. It's really disgusting and apparently completely illogical how things work out.

You don't know how we were living under the reds, and you have no right to speak this way, living in such rich and replete country as USA! It's a great idiotism in my mind to be american and love reds. But however I like your works, thanks for them/

I rather like your art style-- I wonder, did you develop it entirelly on your own, or did other art works influence it? For instance, my art style, while mainly an independently developed style that came to be from mostly trying to draw things based not on references but how I imagined them, did have some influence from other art works.

Nothing develops entirely on it's own, I think. It developed over time through a combination of personal preference and external influence. I was influenced for a long time, some time ago, by expressionist styles and ideas. After that, I was more influenced by New Objectivity artists (I continue to devour all information on this topic). I also take a lot of cues from socialist realism in general. Renaissance-era woodcuts. 20th century woodcut novels. I love all of these things, and though my work is nowhere near as good as any of that, I get a lot of inspiration from them.
