This picture is a tribute to Lady Maria from Bloodborne. I like to think that she was finally free from the Hunter's Nightmare after having to fight her. The sky depicts morning after the Full Moon phase, which was the peak of any hunt. It symbolizes that the hunt is over and of course, Maria is finally at peace.

I may have only played Bloodborne for a year but this will go in as one of my favourite games of all time. The lore, characters and everything. I have already beaten the game a few times and even have a Maria cosplay character, which I need to play more on.

Anyone who is observant when looking at this picture will wonder why the Waning Gibbous moon is on the left of the picture when that's sunrise... Well, this is how it looks from the Southern Hemisphere, as the moon crosses the Northern skies at its peak. Not because I'm from Australia but I have my own lore I'm working on, about afterlife realms and so on, based around OC's. I wanted to incorporate this but I am from the Southern Hemisphere, after all.

Anyway, this is the best I could do. I was going to draw the Lumenwood tree but I couldn't.

PS: I'll probably regret posting this if I've missed correcting something but I just wanted to get this done as I started this earlier in the year. I want to continue my other Maria and my OC: Asphodel, who is a Lady Reaper.
