I had never seen this one before, to be honest, but few images give a good sense of the volume of Cinderella's skirt, or how it would move as she walks or runs. My explanation as to why she wears silver in the film but blue otherwise is that the blue one is a replica made later, but the tailor got the colour wrong. Or the Fairy Godmother misremembered the colour. Something like that.
