Ok, so originally this was supposed to be uploaded on friday, but then I suffered the mad dash to sakuracon so it didn't happen.Then I was going to upload it yesterday, but I fell asleep hardcore and was too tired to get it up.
So here we are! My thoughts on the latest chapter of D Gray Man.
Anyone else think Leverrier was getting a little homo over Link? I mean, I'd cry too, but he's... Leverrier... I just didn't see Hitler wannabe becoming a fatherly (or otherwise) type is all.
Tyki's lines were a bit hacked in my opinion... I feel like the translators went just a little overboard with all the swearing (not that I don't LOVE swearing, I just don't think it's as accurate as it could be...)
And I absolutely laughed at the end where Allen's all "I love you, Lenalee... But don't think you're special, I love everyone else too."
anywho.
How I saw it, what I thought, if you don't agree with me that's cool, this is all fun and games here.

It isn't in the actual manga, but Hoshino released some stuff on the stuff on the side with the characters doing a photo shoot...Β In that Allen wanted to strip so he could make more money and pay off Cross's debts, and everyone was extremely concerned about his future.

Who the fuck is Lennie?! I asked myself the same question, but I thought that it was probably Renee talking to Lvellie using a nickname, and Chan wondering about it. Now I know that itΒ΄s Lvellie warning Renee, because in another translation it says "Be careful, Renee." So does that mean that theyΒ΄re an item? Because in chapter 136 she also hints that she likes snakes when the branch chiefs talk about Lvellie... I think that would be pretty cool ^^.

i dunno... for chinese people... poledancing is a shame to us... especially for girls.. we get shunned and humiliated if we do that (especially for traditional families like me, but these days chinese girls actually don't give a shit anymore, but if a chinese girl does that, there would be rumors spreading and shit going on and humiliation will occur with angry families) well... since i am an emotional person that gets sucked into stories easily... i guess the couples do matter to me... DGM is actually the first manga that i bashed so badly, since the other mangas couples aren't so... messed up like this... but i still love it since i am really obsessed with it now... but for KandaxLenalee... Lenalee is very clean around him in most of the fanart together... so that's why i like it ten thousand times more than Allena... and same with RoadxAllen too... no one really turned Road into a whore around allen... so i like this couple more than allena

And since I can remember, Hoshino has put Lenalee as a sexy chinese girl with a mini skirt in... (ohmaigod) the XIX century! I mean, fans can't really help but to use Lenalee for sexy fanarts! Human body is on sale, and fiction characters like her are just for our own sweet/sick entertainment... so, why shouldn't we sell them to our fantasies without disturbing the reality? It's almost like some sort of self-satisfaction for us fans to get attached to certain... 'pairings', cause deep inside we aren't mature enough to accept the canon of a fictional story, to compensate our love-life frustrations... Well, that's the case of the obsessed fans out there.
I don't support shippings or fanarts because I want them to happen, I just do it... for the lulz, to have a good time!

i know, i get too obsessed since i am a very emotional person and very sensitive... but ya... i mostly accept allen and lenalee as friends, it's just that their friendship also got overrated too... but i've also got annoyed like hell for an even more obsessed kanlina and even more obsessive anti allena fan that is pestering me to change my ocxyuu fanfic into a kanlina one and i wrote this allena wedding fanfic with yuu sama lamenting over lenalee for three friends and THEY LOVed it.. but that fan of mine HATED IT...and is TRYING to force me to CONTINUE IT... even if i don't wanna... i hafta admit, she is a good friend but i want her to stop pushing me around and stop insulting my oc... at least i am not obsessive of kanlina to the point wher my own OCs aren't allowed to be with Yuu sama... heck i even actually drew an Allena fanart for three friends again

You know, don't you just go around pleasing everyone. Instead of worrying on pleasing everyone who comes after you, focus on pleasing yourself... without looking stupid, of course. Happens all the time to me.
Besides, you'll have to get used to it, the number of people who hate OCxCanonCharacter easily surpasses the others who like them... But, really, sometimes the hate it's perfectly justified (don't take it personal, please), cause, sometimes, that kind of OCs are just a pest.
You seem to improve your drawing skills fast, as far as I see. But... as I said before, feeling forced to please everyone might affect you.
And one last advice: stop getting obsessed with pairings. Just relax and appreciate DGM for the way it is. Your madness expressed on your journals is hilarious... almost (insert funny word here, since I don't want to insult you).

Nice comic. It criticizes pretty much well the whole chapter. You make a nice job, though, I don't know how fast you make them and how much effort you put on it, but sometimes characters look pretty odd. Although Tyki looks good here

xDDDDDD Yeah, my excitement jumped when Allen told her "I love you" and then nose-dived when he added the rest. I think I know where his psyche was in adding "and everyone else." I mean, they're involved in a serious conflict and he's dealing with a lot of inner demons and struggles. I don't think I'd want to confess to someone in a situation like that, knowing she/he would be forced to pursue me as my enemy in the near future. Least, that's how I took it.
