No, Sherlock. The rules state that unless you have permission to use the pictures, which this person clearly doesn't have as of the copyright policy, it's considered art theft. Do your research:

FAQ #8: What are violations of the deviantART copyright policy?
FAQ #306: Does "Crediting" let me use whatever I want?

So in fact, unless you've got written permission from the creators, you're only allowed to use your original (your own) work for demotivationals, which the majority of DeviantART-users enjoys to ignore.

That's pretty generalizing, also cease from calling it "yelling", since I'm only making this person aware of the rules; there are in fact more people to warn users about screencaps (in general) rather than demotivationals, White Knight, as you should be able to see on this deviation; I'm the only one calling this person out on their theft so far.

Either way, both are illegal to this website.

the reason i called it yelling is because poeple are constantly telling ppl over and over again not to post stuff thats either not theirs even if credit is given or things that are"illegal"like for example a while back i reposted a demotivational from a friend of mine after i asked permission from him and yet every comment i got on that was people harping at me to take it down,so i got sick of ppl telling me over and over again about it i took it down

There's really no need to go on with this discussion; it was your own fault for uploading an illegal demotivational poster (made by your friend, which doesn't make the case much better, since they obviously used official work or screencaps as well, which neither of you had the permission to use). Are the copyright rules hard for you to understand? Because it seems to me that you're looking for some kind of justice that is non-existent to this website.
