Why does the Zeus have that pointy thingy on the shoulder, and the Banshee have a jet pack on it's back? Β Are these Battletech minis, or are they Gundam wannabes?

It has had one of the PPCs and one Heat Sink removed to give it jump jets.

The Zeus is a ZEU-9WD Zeus X from the revived Black Widow Company.
I thought it was a kick ass mini.
And the kid out is scary too.
