Description So, after realizing I never actually think my  designs all the way through, and being disappointed in myself because of that, I decided to change my way of thinking and how I design these. And this tank is the product of that. I`m pretty pleased with the result, it looks exactly as I envisioned it, something that never really happens.

And no, it does not ride on four sets of tracks, they rise up onto a free-rolling axle. The tank would also carry several auxiliary metal wheels that would unfold from within the track mechanism, reducing the vulnerability to de-treading devices and mines. The center rear portion of the hull contains a marine type diesel engine to power the drive mechanism and unimportant secondary systems. It also has a maximum operating speed of 90 mph on level ground. The cannon lacks a full 360 degree arc, instead being restricted to a 90 degree from center firing arc. Serving primarily as an assault & siege vehicle, the Corbin T3 has seen deployment against rebels and insurrectionists with a near perfect record of success, destroying numerous entrenchments, hostile facilities, communication systems, and ship-building structures.

The Corbin has also found a niche role in exploring extreme, difficult terrain, without risking the loss of aircraft in dangerous conditions or hostile areas with anti-air emplacements. It also remains comfortably cool on the inside, allowing long expeditions in desert regions. On many occasions, Corbin tanks were used in place of atmospheric vehicles for exploring planets where aircraft wouldn't be effective. Many divisions employ the T3 as patrol vehicles on many outposts, to great effect, preventing many potentially disastrous infiltrations and attacks on important locations.

Surprisingly enough, almost one full year after the Corbin was made publicly available, numerous private contractors and police agencies began buying up units in the thousands. Ending many anarchies and causing a huge reduction in crime in many cities. Even some business tycoons have acquired T3`s. Due to the high popularity with the design, a civilian model was introduced, lacking a functional cannon.

With the size of the tank and its limitations to the barrel movement,  the main gun could have been moved farther to the rear for a larger cannon making it more effective as a artillery unit.
Its four tank treads do make it more controllable to fire and a civilian model would be good for construction vehicles.

Now that you point it out, that would work. Particularly as a mortar or something. What kind of civilian construction vehicle though?

Probably a buzzdozer or a crane vehicle with the stability it would have.

You know, that would actually work. Most likely a bulldozer with the powerful engine it has.

You could knock down and entire city if it was a bulldozer.  Infantry transport could also be good.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, but it is a possibility. Armored transport is important, maybe I'll come up with something for that.
