This is such a marvelous rendition of Howl! You did quite a magnificent job. May I ask you how did the diamond pattern on the front? They aren't uneven or anything and I find that rather impressive. And the colors are spot on! So very lovely.

I actually just did the diamonds as patchwork. I've had quite a few people ask me how to do this, so I am actually working on a tutorial for it now!

Oh I actually just decided on what size I wanted to make the finished pieces for the sides of the coat and then just did a little math to divided how large I wanted the finished piece to be by how many diamonds Howl appears to have on the front of his coat!
Actually I have the tutorial up now! (though I must admit it is a little wordy.. I may need go back and fix it tomorrow when I am less tired and spacey) it's here if you wanted a little more detail on how I did it! [link]
