It only looks like 'boob' if you know you're a girl. The gathering on the shirt would give the same effect on me from the side. Don't worry about it, you look great ^-^

The cookie got on it and never came off! It's still on there
I'm starting to think I may have to remake the jacket (which pretty much means I should just remake the whole costume since I'm missing the trim on the shirt and the pants need to have a bit of stretch to them)

And it looks like my chest isn't bound down in this shot DX crazy shirt! Why did I even bother binding?

A short one shouldn't be too hard or expensive. And a white one would be easy enough to die/tint so you shouldn't have too hard of a time in either case ^^
