i like the color version much better. all the red and purplish tones give it a warm feeling, while the fog cools it, and the sharp focus in the middle gives the whole scene a certain feeling of tension

I like em both.. its always fun doing second trys... my comment is the dash and the hand arm look too sharp and clean.... clashing with the rest of the pics mood.... maybe a selective blurr layer on those areas?

I don't recall selective blurring anything but I did make the sharp areas sharper.

erm.. my point was they were to sharp and clean compared to the rest of the image and jarred a little.. just a tad

Ah well I used bicubic sharper in photoshop when I resized smaller. I think if you see jagged edges you're sitting a bit too close.
