Description
Black and white macro of an apple with water droplets on top. Held it up to a light to get the bright background. This is also a submission to DPChallenge.com.EDIT: I got 12th place out of 379!

Nice. I like how the monochrome would seem, intuitively, to drain the subject of all it's essential 'appleness' as we tend to perceive appleness, yet the macro shot drops preserve that fresh, luscious sense of it.
