It was a PC game that involved a guy who could summon creatures using 4 or 5 rings (I think, it's a been a while since I played it seeming my new computer won't run the game) and after a while, you could summon 4 or 5 different dragons with it, they were awesome.
The sequel wasn't as good with the summonings.

Shadow Hearts games are really rare apart from the new release From the New World. But the Shadow Hearts series is a great series based on storyline and gameplay. If you really want to be able to follow the story you ought to buy Shadow Hearts before you buy Covenant.
Anyway, the first two games revolve around a Harmonixer (a person who can fuse with the souls of demons) called Yuri Hyuga who saves Alice Elliot from uber evil man Roger Bacon, the first game charts their journeys through Asia and then Europe as they try to save the world from two crazed megalomaniacs.
Shadow Hearts Covenant (the sequel to Shadow Hearts) follows Yuri as he comes to terms with the death of his beloved and also has to cure a curse that a secret cult has put on him. Covenant is by far the better game.
Anyway, I hope that's helped a bit ^^
