Description

Meredith Ann Pierce's Firebringer trilogy has long been one of my favorites, and when most recently reading them, I remembered how vividly I could picture this one scene - when the herd of pilgrim unicorns are chased into a valley by a serpent cloud, but Jan is the only one who is brave enough to turn and watch it. He sees a stranger, singing the tornado away from the unicorns and thus saving their lives.
I know it's got faults up the yin-yang, but it is my first full painted picture, and I don't have a tablet to use currently. So this is what happens. There's lots of things I dislike about it, but I try to just look at the picture as a whole so I can pretend I have talent.. heh. Took me about 3 hours with Adobe Photoshop and my mouse.
