Okay! Okay! LAST DUMP FOR A WHILE, PROMISE!!
It's just I have to work on university stuff and it's sooooo comfy to procrastinate. 
More Theodore and Ruth stuff.
Trying to do some work on their age progression as well as showing more of their personalities. 
Ruth absolutely hates animals, even cute little puppies.
And Theodore's always messy. I wonder if he sometimes rolls in dirt just to complete the look. 
I'd have loved to finish Theodore's other arm on the bottom-right pic, but I ran out of paper.
I've become strangely fond of drawing hands, even when I get them wrong. Thanks for looking, guys!

Again, I just love the body language in your work. They convey so much story in and of themselves.

oh my gosh kid!ruth and kid!theodore are adorable! X3 I love their big, bright eyes and their toothy, mischievous smiles (especially Theodore's!) They look so awesome I can't even explain it. I love how you make their young versions look so....young! And capture that childlike energy and attitude, but still have them be so on model to their normal/older ages. Also, I really like the shot of them in the top right -- having them with their arms folded on the table, and in Ruth's case, her face slightly hiding behind them just feels so -- for reals! So natural, like a way a kid would actually sit at a table. They look like they've been getting into some trouble, but I love how excited their faces are. And Ruth's eyes and smirk are great -- they hold the same boundless excitement that's exploding from Theodore's face, but her expression is a *little* more closed, since her smile is a little more closed and she a little shorter and more tucked behind her arms, so it feels really fun like she's just about to explode, just barely containing how excited she is. X3
And then I like the pic in the bottom left. I love how Theodore is like "now look here, I'm THIS tall!" and Ruth's expression just SCREAMS "oh, please...suuuuuuure" XDD I LOVE her attitude there! Her eyes, her sneer, and the puffed up way she's leaning back and crossing his arms at him as she turns away to roll her eyes. I LOVE how expressive she is there! So cute. X3

As for crits, let's see...
β In the upper left drawing Theo's lower leg seems a bit too long compared to the upper legs. It may be the perspective playing tricks on my mind, but my gut tells me the foot should not stick out that far.
β In the drawing below that Theodore's torso seems... off. My first impression was that is looks too thin, but I think it has more to do with the placement of the shoulder. (Just tell me if that's too vague, I can whip up a drawing to show you what I mean)
β And for the final nitpick, Ruth's hand in the lower right drawing does not really fit the pose. In the sense that, the wrist side of the hand seems to be hanging a little bit above the ground as if she doesn't put any weight on that hand, while the rest of the pose suggests quite the contrary.
Finally, I have to say the two sketches with the drawings in the top right corner are totally amazing! The way you draw children is so adorable, and the gestures are enormously expressive! (especially in the lower drawing of the two) Easily my favorites in this sketch dump.

Bottom-left I'm foggy on! I just wanted to draw them arguing. 
You're free to make something up if you like.
Bottom-right is a concept sketch for a scene I'm working on. I don't want to give too much away, since I might change it later, but it has to do with the event that drove them apart. I just wanted to establish how beat up I wanted them to be. It's easy to write what wounds they got, but you never know if their bruises are aesthetically pleasing till you try 'em out, y'know?

HA! Yes, I totally read in accents. I go all out with dramatic reading and everything. HALF IRISH OH MY WORD!!! I didn't picture that! I pictured him having like a third-class British accent

Yeah, Theodore has like a bastardised half-accent between third-class British and Irish.
See, I have this friend who speaks half-British, half-American, (I think his mom's from the US or summin') and I just think it's the most beautiful sound ever. Like there's bad mixing accents, like my brother who just ends up sounding Dutch (silly man!), and then there's good mixing accents. So I really wanted one of my characters to do the good mix. And I don't think you can ever go wrong mixing Irish in there.
PLEASE DO FILM A VIDEO! You have no idea how much that would mean to me!!!

Hey! 
Heheh, nah, just kidding. I myself don't like an obvious Dutch accent in any language but Dutch. In my mind it has a deep association with people who are too lazy to properly work on their accents when speaking foreign languages. (In practice 'lazy' usually means lack of talent or exposure to native speakers, but whatever. Still think it sounds lazy.

YESSS!! And we just FINALLY finished reading chapter 4. My sister wandered off, but my brother is on the edge of his seat wondering what will happen next! He is obsessed with Dennis--you have no idea.
