This was one of the first pictures I attempted to print this semester, and it's taken me this long to get it done because I kept getting interrupted with other assignments. And I seriously need a new scanner now. There were maybe two or three places that needed spot-toning on the print itself, but the scanned picture is full of dust and scratches. *gripes*

I love the slightly abstract composition of this - how certain details are brought out, and others are masked in darkness. Also, great song choice to go with the piece... I love the Fray as well!

So this is what you had on your MSN icon last night! I was wondering what the plague that was--it looked kind of like leaves, except not, and it was all shadowy and pretty, but completely indescernable. 
Anyway, I love it. All those gorgeous shadows, and the almost-green colour, and the sillouhetting, and I love photos that are at odd angles, so the way your head is mostly obscured is fascinating to me. The crumpled bedclothes are in some way intruiging as well.

It's not supposed to be almost-green, actually--this is a black-and-white photography class, after all; color is far too complicated at this point--except my scanner is serious rubbish. We need a new one.

Oh, beautiful sillhouette! The lighting is so lovely and the strange quality of the photo is really interesting to look at... So pretty
