So my best online friend is writing a Team Fortress 2 fanfiction, Eight Mercenaries and a Toddler , which I'm beta reading. I's sad, sweet, funny and overall rather awesome, and I think that if you like TF2 it's more than worth a looksee. Here's the summary if you want: When Respawn malfunctions and their annoying Scout is turned into something far more precocious, it'll take all of the RED team's wits and patience to look after him. At the same time, Engineer must find a way to turn Scout back into an adult before the BLUs--or anyone else--realizes what's happened. No pairings, just a bunch of exhausted trained killers and one hyperactive child.Now, I knew next to nothing about TF2, but beta-reading this fanfiction drew me into the characters (I'm not much into gaming, but whoever created and developped these characters did a very good job), and I looked at videos and read comics and stuff. And it left me with a mental image of a toddler Scout holding a baseball bat like a security blanket.

The balls, no. Maybe the ovaries. As I said, I didn't make the fanfic rec, I only made the page for the fanfic itself. It's good, troperrific and hardly the only TF2 fanfic with its own page, and I thought it deserved one.
And yes, ChaosandMayhem is female. What's that got to do with anything?
