Description I always wanna do more South Park stuff...but the inspiration is few and far between.

Most of my favourite moments on the show involve Randy Marsh...so I thought it was about time I tried to honour him in drawing form.

I kept going back and forth while I was doing it. One moment I wanted to bin it...then next I wanted to keep going...then I wanted to bin it...then I wanted to keep going...and so on and so on.

Next thing you know, I was finished. So...uh...I guess the choice was made for me.

...also, I've been having a strange urge to draw Batman...and Robin...and Nightwing... I wonder what that could be from?

Yeah, I've seen that baseball episode. I laughed all the way through that one. I love the 'Fingerbang' episode. Where Stan's boy band reminds Randy of his past boy band...and he has a big soap opera moment about it.

Batman, Robin and Nightwing! Excellent! My plan is working! *cough* I mean...if you wanna draw them...that would be cool.

And more South Park too. I'd love to see how you did Jimmy. He's probably my next fave after Randy.

Fingerbang is probably my dad's absolute favorite episode...I love their song, it's an instant classic. And Randy's soap opera moments are always fantastic.

Jimmy, eh? That's a tough one...I was thinking about doing one of them from the episode where they all dress up as lord of the rings characters. I could probably have Jimmy in there somewhere, he has a pretty big part in that ep...

Awesome. I completely forgot about that Lord of the Rings episode. I've only seen it once on tv.

Jimmy is definitely a tough one. I've had a few aborted attempts at trying to draw him myself.

There was a new South Park episode on tonight. The first part of Imagination Land...but there was something wrong with tv station, so after five minutes, the station cut out. And it didn't come back on until the show was over!

You should check out southparkzone. com (without the space of course)...they have every single episode, including the brand new ones. (Imagination Land is actually from last season)

I'm not really surprised we're not totally up to date on the tv. But being only one season behind isn't so bad. That's quite good compared to some other shows.

Yeah, that's one of my favorite sites. YAY SOUTH PARK!!!!!

I don't even have a channel that shows South Park. If it weren't for that site, I'd never get to watch episodes...until they came out on dvd.

The channel played about five shows of season six and then it was taken off. This was about a year and a half ago mind you. So now it's ONLY dvds for Smallville. And considering we don't actually get those dvds until about six months after everyone else...the whole situation is entirely fucked up.

South Park is always on though. Even though we're behind, it's on every week. Even if they have to play old ones because there's no new ones yet.

I've always wanted to ask just why your lines are such a light shade. Sort of a random thought, sorry, it's just that I make mine as black as possible (cartoon influence, I'm sure). Do you pencil it and that's it, no inking?

Even reading, that sounds so funny. Now for the real comments. . .

I have no idea who that is, as I'm pretty far away from being a South Park. I admit its success, then I stay away; but that guy looks awesome. Kinda like Ned Flanders with that mustache. Which reminds me, weren't you going to do a bunch of Simpson's characters, too?

I use a very soft lead. The way I draw, I go over the lines a few times, so it builds up some darkness, but it still stays quite soft. That's my personal preference. When it scans, it comes out quite light and soft, and I like that. I only really ink if I'm going to colour something. Sometimes I ink just for a change, but I generally like pencil lines.

Glad ya like it without knowing about the show. I was going to do some more Simpsons characters. I've been thinking about who to do next. I got asked to do a Lou, so I might do him...and maybe Krabapple and Skinner. I don't know yet.
