Bowser is even bigger than Ridely, depending on the game, at times making him look puny in comparison.

It's not that he wasn't too big, it's that he had a change of design, to adapt his new size. I checked to see if it wasn't Ridley from Other M, but the design is different.
So yeah. Sakurai made it possible.

I wonder if they'll add in a detail that makes it so Ridley's final smash is personalized for other ninty ships, like if he uses it on meta knight, he slams meta into the halberd and blows it up; likewise with olimar and his ship, mario in the odyssey, Captain falcon and his racer, and the starfox crew get blown up on their own mothership.
Nintendo's got enough airships that it could work for near everyone now. Even the hylians got vah medoh now.

It would be cool, but it would also be a waste of data space adding extra ships, like the Odyssey or Vah Medoh, only for Ridley’s final smash.
It would also be impossible for Fire Emblem characters since the only ship-size things they have are dragons.

yea it wouldn't work for everyone, at most the shipless franchises would be rounded off to others with ships, like fire emblems get medoh as well or something.
idk that'd be cool; and all things considered they put a lot of effort into really stupid details like sound effects and voices on the same character slots. Like really, who cares how Ike sounds or what sound comes out of Bayonetta's guns. it's a useless detail and it still got data space in the game
