Small part of the story:

Killian was born on the outskirts of the Sandlands kingdom, his parents were nomads like him, when he was only three weeks old when his parents were attacked by another nomadic lion, named Vritra, who claimed to be the leader of a pride of pirate lions. Unfortunately, his parents didn't have a chance to survive and the cub was taken along with him and his accomplices. The only thing he was told about his parents is his name, because until he knew what his parents looked like, he had been denied.

From a very young age, he was taught to kill, steal, practice dishonesty, so Killian grew up carrying a great hatred for his mentor. For even though he lived in a world of cruelty, that lion, physically and mentally abusing other members of the clan, was ruthless and tyrannical.

When he finally grew up to be one of the best fighters in the group, he challenged him to a Machindan, being younger and more agile he gladly killed the vile leader, thus becoming the youngest leader of the clan. As much as he tried not to follow in Vritra's footsteps, he often looked like the fallen king.
