Still a few weeks away, but Rapture is still coming. Yep, that monster I've been promoting for, what, over a year now? Lotsa' design changes went in and out of this. Lots of influences also.

I knew I wanted a Centaur-ish kaiju with 4 legs, 1 tail, and 2 arms. The arms were originally envisioned as "organic cannons", but as I continued on, I took influence from the movie Negadon: Monster From Mars (after watching it a month or so ago again). The arms would work the same way as Negadon's "heads".

The spikes looming over his head (something I have ALWAYS wanted with this kaiju) are taken from 's Gammadon. Thought they'rd really look good for a kaiju like this.

Lastly, I kept the whole "no mouth" thing (since he doesn't eat/breath). Instead his jaws are laced with glowing streaks. I also kept the "head hands", which originally started out as SpaceGodzilla/Destoroyah-ish tusks. Just think they look cool.

The spike-covered back I envisioned as "Anguirus on steroids" while the front torso I imagined almost Biollante-like, being a huge mass of energy contained within his body.

The tail is long, thin, and metal-like. A homage to Mortal Kombat's Motaro, whom I envisioned Rapture being the kaiju equal to, power wise. (IE: he's a f'n BEAST and a bitch to fight).
