So uuuuuuuh this may or may not have actually happened to me once years ago...except instead of a shiny kadabra, it was one with a better nature than the one I'd been raising throughout the entire game. So I traded my beloved Hocus away and actually GOT HIM BACK through Wondertrade that same day as an Alakazam. Boy did I feel like an asshole.
Now in Ultra Moon I spend my time breeding abras, raising them into kadabras, and then sending them out on Wondertrade so people can have their own alakazams. Gotta repent for my sins, baby.

I use Wondertrade quite a lot and it's only happened to me twice. Once with the kadabra and another time pretty recently when I bred like 20 charmanders and sent them out...only for one to come back to me the next day lol.
