Malon is the daughter of Talon, owner of the Lon-Lon Ranch. She's a kind young girl who spends most of her time singing her mother's song, and her best friend is a female horse known as Epona. The Hero of Time met her when he began his journey to save Hyrule, and they remained good friends ever since. Possibly they even got married, but that's just a theory.
