The colors are beautifully grim, like a drizzly grey day at the beach. Makes me miss the drab, wintery New England shorelines. That sort of day has come alive in your painting.

that is a pretty good external interpretation of my internal experience ... i was actually starting to emerge from the long, dark night of the soul when i created this piece.

This is so beautiful. All the randomness comes together in a perfect whole. The collage elements are very appropriately placed.
