The first and oldest of the "Mega Man" title and the first Reploid, X was a being with a highly adaptive power and high potential born of Doctor Thomas Light's desire for peace and for advancement in robotics. He's become one of the most respective representatives of robot kind along with his younger brother.
However, after becoming a Maverick Hunter to deal with malicious robots, the bureaucracy of humans and the plight of his fellow robots have made him conflicted. Though his friends and allies, especially Zero, keep him calm and focused on saving humanity from any threats.
