Since I've only ever played Awakening, I have little to no knowledge of Fire Emblem games or characters. Most of creating this was researching and basically guessing which characters were important enough. If you think there are any more that I should definitely add or even any that you think I should remove, let me know.

But Tharja's not really a villain, she's a 'hero', so I'm EXPECTED to hold he to a higher standard-and she FALLS FLAT.

Put Camus, he appeared in more Fire Emblem games then Marth.
The Whitewings, again more games then Marth.
Put in Hardin as well, he appeared in many games.
Replace Lon'qu with Navarre, the original Swordmaster.
Get in Finn, he's so beloved he gets many votes in Japanese polls for Smash Bros. He has appeared in a major playable role in two games and is plot important in both.
Put in Arvis and Yurius, the armored version of Arvis from the second generation.
Gharnef for a villain who alongside Medeus has appeared as villain in more games then any other FE character.
Get rid of Nowi, a unneeded Tiki clone and replace her with Myrrh.
Get rid of Walhart, Sully, Cordelia and Olivia.
Once again remove Rowan, everyone hates Fire Emblem Warriors and especially him.
Also considering this is a pipe dream, might as well put in some Tear Ring Saga characters in too.

This is my bias speaking but I like the Awakening characters that I chose so I'm going to keep them, I will put your other suggestions on the list for when I pick new ones to add when I update this.

Although I wouldn't cut the people he said, he did say some pretty good ideas for future ideas. (Camus, Gharnef, Hardin, and Arvis) On the subject of Rowan, although I ain't a huge FE fan, I do know that Rowan is at least unpopular, hut seeing how he was requested by one of your followers and is a Warriors rep, I say he should stay.

One of the regular characters such as Xander can already represent Warriors.

But here's the thing: He didn't originate for it. That's why Rowan should stay, as he's a original Warriors rep.

Fire Emblem Warriors wasn't even well recieved though and was the worst selling Switch game with a Nintendo brand on it.
Rowan especially was hated by everyone and viewed as one of the worst things about the game.

The game failed to appeal to the Fire Emblem fandom, especially compared to Hyrule Warriors. The Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors alone without DLC has more movesets then Fire Emblem Warriors.
Basically Fire Emblem warriors referenced two games while guest starring Marth in contrast to Hyrule Warriors being a love letter to the whole Zelda franchise.

I have noticed that a large chuck of the games cast is Awakening and Fates, probably due to the two games popularity.
It just sadly pales hugely to Hyrule Warriors, as it's a very good ode to the series.

The developers extensively lied about the roster as well.
To begin with they said they wouldn't include the most popular characters from the series like Ephraim and Hector, because that would be "too many swords" despite the fact that both mentioned characters "DON'T" use swords or aren't infantry.
The final game had over half the roster composed of infantry swords. They didn't even include iconic classes like Armored Knight which they promised prior to the release would be in the game. There aren't playable villains either.

Though never confirmed, its possible Nintendo/IS and KOei each independently made decisions that ended up hurting the game.
Koei isn't innocent though, they insisted on putting in Linde over Camus be she had sexy feet, no joke!

Awakening is alright, but the plot is a mess and there's so many plot holes.
TearRing Saga was the game by the creator of Marth and the first five games, who didn't endorse Awakening.
Can you get rid of Rowan at least, everyone hates him?

I don't know if TearRing should be treated as a third party or not, as it's not exactly a Nintendo property.
I was specifically requested by one of my followers to add Rowan to this roster before I even made it, but your PM is convincing so I will consider it when I get to updating this at some point.
There isn't a specific limit planned but I don't want to go overboard.

You can add Gonzales to represent the bandit class and Dart to represent the pirate class.
Travant is another popular villain from the 4th and 5th game.
For a really weird choice, you can add the bandit twins, all of them as they are effectively the same character(all look the same except for different hairstyles and all fight the same).

Jagen you should note too, he created an iconic archetype and was popular enough to appear in a japanese poll for Smash.
Gazzak you should add as he's not only the first boss of the first game, but has appeared as the first boss in many Fire Emblem games since.

Only one I miss personally is Medeus. The first primary Antagonist of the Fire Emblem series. The first ever main villain.
