Samantha Stankey is one of Lisa and her friends allies. She was born on November 27. Lisa first met Samantha at school when she told her about Sara's attempts to sabotage her for running for Fall Homecoming Queen against her at school. She is described as sweet, shy, timid, and kind. She moved to Springfield from her hometown in Arizona. When she started to attend Springfield Elementary School, she and Milhouse developed crushes on each other at recess after she accidentally hit him with a ball and they started dating each other. A few weeks later, she met Greta on the bus and she met Jenny in the cafeteria and they became best friends with each other when they started going to school together. She kept her relationship with Milhouse a secret, because her parents are very overprotective of her, especially her dad, when it comes to her being around boys. One day, her father caught her and Milhouse kissing in a tree and he told her that he is going to put her in Saint Sebastian's School for Wicked Girls, which is an all girls school, and that she's never going to see her boyfriend again. Milhouse found out which school that her dad put her in and they reunited with each other, but, their conversation was cut short due to the all girls school having a strict policy on the girls talking to boys and he promised her that he'll find a way to make their relationship work and that he'll visit her everyday. A few months later, Samantha ran into him at the Kwik-E-Mart and she tells him that her parents are taking her out of Saint Sebastian's School for Wicked Girls and that they're putting her back in Springfield Elementary School, which means that they can see each other again and that they are able to continue going out with each other. Sadly, things went wrong between them. While Samantha was visiting her sick grandmother in Arizona, Milhouse ended up cheating on her the new girl at school, Taffy, who is Rebecca's older sister and who was also completely unaware of their relationship until she was told about it. When she came back home after she lost her grandmother, her best friends told her what happened while she was away and she became very hurt, devastated, angry, and heartbroken by what her boyfriend did to her. Samantha ended up avoiding Milhouse after she found out that he cheated on her with Taffy, who left the school in guilt after realizing what she has done, and she eventually confronted him about it at the Fall Fair at school, which led to her breaking up with him as a result. However, he is dealing with serious guilt for hurting her and he is doing whatever he can to earn her forgiveness and trust back. Even before things went bad with their relationship, he developed a crush on Lisa when she started attending their school and he started to give her some unwanted attention, despite the fact that she is dating Colin. Luckily, Samantha was able to make her friendship with her work, despite Milhouse getting distracted by her sometimes. She has been wearing braces ever since she went into the 3rd grade and she is insecure about wearing them, because she gets bullied for them, along with her being made fun of for her last name. Even with the braces and people making fun of her last name, Samantha has a beautiful and lovely personality.
