Clank is so adorably small, and he even seems childlike even though we can only see his backside. I would say that he only seems smaller because he is thinner than he should be, but I like it.

Try some tutorials, or do what I did - get a shitload of markers and experiment like hell! XD Also, scan in the lineart before coloring just in case you befuck it LOL

Great composition, the height difference between Ratchet and Clank creates movement and dynamic though they're standing, while it doesn't tip off the balance.
I love Ratchet's expression and pose. His pupils are wide (a sign of liking something or somebody), his look is directed down to Clank and he is smiling. His whole attention is on the robot, crouching to get closer to him; the position of the arms and the angle of bis ears show he's relaxed, but also attentive and happy.
You drew Clank well, his torso is a bit narrow but that is only me. ^^ I adore his thinker pose.
The linework is clear and simple, they give room for the colours to shine, and the colours pull you to the shapes, e.g. making Ratchet's eyes bigger and looking attentive or pointing out how his ears perk. Black fits him well and the orange lines on the shirt make a eye-catching contrast; it's rare artists draw him with their own, new designs so I love this here. ^^

And yeah... Clank kinda sucked in this pic D; I sketched him too small originally and then when I made him taller I didn't compensate for his torso enough.

I thought at first, too, Clank was too small, until I realized he only looks so because of his narrow body.
Ratchet's shirt looks cool and as I said, it's rare artists give him clothes in their own design instead of going with his default armours in the game. Yours looks fresh, it looks different because it's casual like the top Ratchet wore in ToD and yet more vibrant because of the contrast between the black and the vibrant orange.

XD I gave him that outfit because, at the time, that's what I thought his ToD uniform was. Plus, his default armor gives me a headache and I can never find a decent reference when I sit down to draw. >.<
