After finishing her housework, the brainwashed Penelope awaits quietly for her "husband's" return. As part of her condition, Penelope responds to her husband when he snaps his fingers. When she hears the snap, Penelope runs to her husband's chair and kneels in front of him, catering to his every whim as a dutiful loving wife. The photographer is pleased that Penelope no longer wants to be a snoopy reporter and do a story on him. He will keep a tight reign on her and make sure she won't cause him anymore trouble.
(I purposely didn't show the villain's face because I wanted the focus to stay on Penelope and her conversion.)
