Description And this is yet another Wonder Woman redesign. What I was trying to do here was to make the costume design as simple as it was humanly possible.

You can see other Wonder Woman redesigns in my Wonder Woman gallery .

I don't think it gets any simpler than this.

it's so simple, it's kind of like... um, did you forget to put on pants?

...but in a good way.

I don't think there is a bad way for Wonder Woman to forget to put on pants.

Paradoxalement, pas la plus facile Γ  dessiner.

wordeea In reply to The-Mirrorball-Man [2012-10-16 09:43:37 +0000 UTC]

et pourquoi donc ?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

The-Mirrorball-Man In reply to wordeea [2012-10-16 12:25:26 +0000 UTC]

Apart the Wonderful Woman , this is definitely my favorite of your other Wonder Womans. I love both the cleanliness of the lines and of the costume, than the interesting expression

It's good to know that sometimes showing restraint pays off, because I'm usually quite heavy-handed with the effects and the flashy Photoshop things.

I like your heavy handedness, because you're usually quite clean with that too (that is: stuff you make has a meaning - it's not the classic "Oh! I have Photoshop! I'll do a lot of flares and stuff like that!") But yup, sometimes restraint really pays off

I like it. simple, clean lines, you kept the classic color mix. This definitely looks like something someone could wear under their clothes in case of emergencies, which is what i assume you meant by simple.

Thank you! By "simple" I meant elementary, not unnecessarily complex or complicated.

Ah. It definitely has that going too, but call me old fashioned, I like it when costumes can be worn under street clothes. This one def. pulls it off!

Truth! I never really thought of that until now. It worked in the 40's maybe, but c'mon! That's probably why I always preferred the upside-down, nose-guard-like versions of it seen in various redesigns.

What I found out by drawing this is that she'd only look like Wonder Woman if I put the double-W symbol on her chest. With a simple W, the design didn't work.

Simple, clean design - check
Curvacious woman - check
Awesome hair - check

Is the star directly on her forehead? All in all, a nice, clean design.

I think it was a bit to "princess" for a warrior

It is. Although keep in mind that we're talking about a "warrior" who wears a swimsuit and whose weapon is a lasso.
