This looks excellent, I remember this one from awhile back. I love the dark dingy atmosphere and the colours you used look very good as well and help add to the overall appearance. I love how you have done all the characters, the rabbit's eyes are kind of pretty and his ears look almost crisp like freshly burnt and blistering flesh, still with that oily shiny effect. The light coming through them is great too. I think the most alarming and or creepy part would be Alice's feet, they are so small and withered somehow. Well done.

Sorry to correct you, but the woman in the chair is the White Rabbit, not Alice. In my mind, the White Rabbit is a girl ... don't know quite why. I've been drawing this rabbit girl for a while before I started calling her the White Rabbit. The rabbit behind her is the March Hare. The other figure behind the chair is the Mad Hatter, and the thing sitting in the White Rabbit's lap is the Cheshire Cat. I've intentionally leave Alice out of most of my "Wonderland" pictures. I prefer her to be a nebulous presence, or maybe we're seeing Wonderland through her eyes.
I listened to Tom Wait's album "Alice" alot when I did this. You should pick it up sometime. It gives "Alice in Wonderland" a dingy, sordid, carney-like feel.

Oooh, I see, I thought perhaps Alice was just mocking another rabbit. That is neat actually, the white rabbit as a girl. I like that better.
I shall have to check it out. Though Alice in Wonderland gave me nightmares as a small child as it is (though I watched it constantly anyways)

this is such a scary image
i see the innocence of youth and the evil in humans being us that can produce demons or design a living hell .
the bunny also reminds me of the way most people are easily persuaded and afraid of being something that is not sociable accepting

Also, thanks for requesting a print. I've been looking over the original version and have found some banding issues in some of the gradients. So I'm hoping to touch that up soon, download a hi-res version and make it a print.
