Description
Sometimes, if you look closely, you can see the most beautiful little creatures in the most mundane habitats. This little guy was on a leaf in a forest very near my house right after the rains. His bright irridescent carapace intruiged me. He was immensely cooperative, and I got the shot that I wanted.Prints of all of my work are available over on my blog, along with more recent developments in my photography.

Very stunning capture! We do have so many bugs in NJ during spring. Japanese beetles are attractive but sometimes they are pests to my garden lol!
