Build Description: Remington is a tall, broad, and muscular giant schnauzer. His fur is dense, wiry, and quite weather-resistant. The color in his youth was a deep ebony hue, sleek and shining. As he's aged the color has gained some salt and pepper streaks to it. Both eyes are a beautiful shade of blue but the left is faded and scarred due to an accident when he was young. He is quite sensitive about his eye and the scar on his side. He does his best to hide the long scar on his side with his fur if he can help it.

Backstory:

✎Remington was born to a standard schnauzer mother and a giant schnauzer father. His mother Tansy told him and his brother Carmichael later in life that their father just didn't want the responsibility of pups. Fortunately for their small family, Everest, came along. Tansy introduced the giant schnauzer as their paternal grandfather. The gentle giant of a dog played an instrumental part in raising the rambunctious boys.

✎In their early teens Carmichael and Remington had an accident that resulted some horrid wounds on Remington. His side has since bore a long scar partially hidden by fur and his left eye was rendered sightless. Carmichael held a lot of guilt over the accident and Remington a fair bit of resentment. It took the death of their grandfather to bring them close again. Remington was given Everest's old plaid collar which he wore with pride. The pair of them remained close friends as they aged into adults.

✎Tragedy struck when a collapsing structure took the life of their mother. The brothers mourned deeply for their mother and the connection forever lost with their estranged father.

✎Remington spent most of his adult years doing whatever was needed of him by the pack. He got used to working with just one eye and relied more on his ears and keen nose. Life within the walls was safety and a comfort to the big canine. He never saw reason to abandon the walls and wander the world beyond. His carefree brother had other ideas and snuck away from their sanctuary. Remington has not seen him since.

✎Remington still resides in Kensington to this day. Even in his old age his pride for his home has never waned.
