Description
I felt like one of those pro nature photographers, wading through piranha infested waters through some deep, dark jungle... In actual fact though, instead of a river, it was a pool and instead of some jungle, it was my back yardwww.just-click-photography.com.au

I dont...I love it! The colors are so perfect too. What lens did you use to capture this?

Appears to be pretty good macro lens

Lovely shot mate, it came out nice and sharp. I also like the shadow the butterfly casts as well as the blurry background where the colours mix together.

Nice shot
Reminds me of this camera trick that I thought you might be interested in; I tried but I don't have the patience lol
You take your lens off teh camera and just hold it in place, backwards, and it becomes a kind of macro lens. I've done it with my 400D and its a bit of a pain to get a nice sharp shot ... but the result is just amazing. Here's someone who did it well: [link] (actually this shot made me actually give it a try but I'm too lazy to do well at it lol)

Thanks Jono. Yeh, actually an easier way is to get a reversing ring and mount a lens backwards on the end of whatever lens you already have. Best to get an older lens that actually has an aperture ring so you can keep it open
