Must have been very satisfying doing that red splatter.
THe neat corridor makes me think of old Twilight Zone, Outer limits, 50s/60s' Sci Fi sets.
Also has a slight Dada feel to it.

He originally had a hole through his head. but that vanished by accident. i had this done ages ago, but the splashes were less fun then you'd imagined and gotten in all the wrong places so i had to try and paint over lots of them.
It is nice living out things in paintings, obviously i never plan on shooting some man in the head in a sterile corridor. but it'd be pretty cool to do it in a spy film kinda way.
I mostly just wanted to paint the shoes. I've had a pair of patent red platform heels for the last six or seven years that i'm in love with, had them re heeled about 10 times. so i felt i should pay homage to them

at least you guys have that test thing for taxis where they have to know how to get to certain places. over here you have to be a human gps half the time.
