Make it a name from 'Metropolis' or some other artistic monument of Art Deco. Β Nice enough, I might go for an 'interior of the Empire State Building' metallic bronze and mosaic sort of look, which you're close to now.

Every time I pick up the notion to do something Art Deco, I always find myself improving just a bit more.

If you can, go walk through Art Deco buildings, the architecture more than anything else communicates the spirit of the age. Β You do need a bit more detail in your work to capture the vibe entirely, but you're doing very, very well.

Aside from Milwaukee, Wisconsin is not entirely noted for it's abundance of Art Deco structures. Still, I'd rather love to tour a good many of them. Now only if I could get the travel monies...

I did a deco picture I was quite proud of some years back but I cannot find it.

While I try not to over-use the aesthetic, I do love Art Deco. It's not entirely hard, but it does take some patience.
