Kind of a speed paint, had to draw something after seeing the movie. I'll post a link to the actual speed paint later.The movie was pretty great, a decent horror comedy. That jack in the box monster can go set itself on fire though lemme just say that.
Krampus looked pretty legit in the movie, but I did imagine him being more goat like instead of a very creepy humanoid.

I loved how the film made him more satanic looking since Krampus is The Christmas Devil and The Shadow of Saint Nicholas. It really shows how much of a menacing and dark figure he is. That and why everyone tries to behave because everyone basically FEARS Krampus.

Not his real face, but that face should be, because that is scary.

Apparently the human like face was actually a mask he was wearing, not his actual face. So he could have a goat-like face underneath. Who knows.Β

I like that they designed Krampus to look more like a humanoid. And that they gave him clothes. It makes him look less of some deranged animal. Because that's what the Krampus from the non-Film photos look like. And that's just dumb. Like how I actually thought of Satan as a giant Dragon (like Smaug)

In the Christmas fair I went to in Germany Krampus looked very human, it all just depends on how people want to depict him. Usually he looks more like a satyr like devilish character.

I personally really liked how humanoid he looked, whether or not it's his real face in the movie or not is irrelevant, since all he showed was a humanoid one, which was really fucking cool

It's a modern horror that actually looks good I say, but as a scroogy person who loves halloween much more than the cheery red and white season I'm definitely watching this on the 25th.
