Pfffft, yes, a big brain fart. You should try~ There are a lot of study abroad programs out there, and if you apply to a country that isn't hugely sought after ((like Korea)) you often get in on full paid scholarships if you have the passion and meet the requirements~ You should look into it. ^v^
And Pssha, at least you get to go...I have to work my butt of to even think about leaving the country. >w< ((my parents are not fans))

Yeah...highschool got even harder to bear once I set my mind to studying overseas...OTL everyday that passed by pains me. I keep thinking, "just do well in school, earn those credits, and hoen on your essay and hangul skills.....we can do this..."
And yeah! The programs provide a place to stay. ^v^ If you get in on a good scholarship they pay for housing, school, and all your books/learning tools, the only expense you have to worry about is food. ^v^ Its a really nice deal. Its quite easy to get them for certain countries, like Korea, because they want to diversify their campus. ^v^ I'm so excited to go.....-wants to bathe in culture-

Haha yeah. And....I mean he can kind of control it. Its like a goat or horse (he is half goat or whatever lol) As long as you make you presence known it shouldn't be a problem lol...but ninjas would get a kick. XD haha.
Lol yeah, I totally understand I had the same mentality my junior year. OTL Though, its good to have a goal to work towards, it helps you stay on track an push yourself. Just do your best ((Maybe not all As, but your best ^v^ )) and study hard for the ACTs. Thats what I did, and I got a pretty good score if I do say so myself....that ACT score is going to be a big thing colleges look at. Just don't stress yourself out too much. stress= breakdown= sadface, so don't forget, if you have a test on Monday, its okay to go out on Sunday and study just a few hours before you go to sleep. ((Its actually better for you that way, psychologically and physically. ^v^))
Hah, yeah it is~ even if you don't get in on a big scholarship, they usually cover all your schooling, so you'd only be paying 1,000-5,000 dollars a year for housing/dorms, which is REALLY cheep considering how much tuition costs these days. @w@ And even if you don't apply to the school directly like me, schools in america still usually have exchange programs ((unfortunately, Korea isn't usually a choice))

And I think so far out of all the advices I got during the summer, yours seem easier (or more do-able..) to follow :> Since I hear people going like 'just cram' (which I get tired from and I don't do it at all) or they say to study for the whole week (which I don't do at all because I just hate studying ;n; ..can't imagine myself studying for the whole entire week without going on the computer or w.e) So, THANK YOU. Haha, well, I'm glad my advice helped! Yeah, cramming never works, its scientifically proven that you won't remember more then 35% of what you crammed on the nigh before, even less if you loose sleep. OTL NOT a good plan. And BLEH studying all the time is too boring! I'm with you, I hate studying, which is why I break up studying with going out with friends or internet times. Some of my more "study hard; study all the time" friends think I'm lazy but meh, Everything I want is coming together so I think I won. :3
PFFFT, 10,000??? Are you looking to go to Harvard or Yale? FFF, 10,000 for housing is even more then the elitist art schools I looked at. @w@ Way to much for a normal/above average college. Well, those are just study abroad programs, which means you'd oly go for half of a year. Um, most schools wont let you sign up for a study abroad program unless you are in your 3rd or 4th year of school. And if you do like me and plan to apply directly to the school, most abroad student programs of any kind say that you must have at least 2 years of prior schooling to apply. ^v^ So your first 2 years, lay a nice foundation. For example, for me, I plan to be an Asain Studies major, specializing in Korean culture when I get to SNU (the school in seoul) But here in Wisconsin, we do not have many nice bigger schools that have that kind of program or anything similar ((well, unless I wanted to do business of the world which = BLEH)) so by default I have to take 2 years of Sociology in the US before transferring to the ROK for Asian Studies. Get it? :3

Haha, I know what you mean about the Harvard/yale thing. I had a friend who was aiming for Yale, and he was soooooooo stressed out ALL THE TIME. I felt so bad for him.....he never had any time too himself, and once he gets in, it'll be even harder anyway! Poor dude....I was like BAW. poor guy.
And yeah, I'm totally getting a part time job, I don't really need too, (( my parents and grandparents are nice enough to pay for most of my schooling)) But I really want to get a job and save up money so that when I get there I can actually do/get things I want from time to time without having to worry about running out of a monthly allowance or something like that. Plus, sense after college I plan to live in korea and teach English, its never to early to start saving up for my possible future in Seoul~ -lost in daydreams-

Haha, yes! I love the fashion over there! I always want to buy some, but its so costly to order a whole new wardrobe online from korea and get in sent to me here in WI. FFF. So much money.... And yeah~ There stuff if a bit cheeper then here in America, but its not like something thats 40 here is 10 there XD more like 30. Especially in Seoul where I'll be~ Its such a new-age city that they can have nicer lines there too! FFF, the problem I have is I have a nack for always likeing designer clothes....I'll be looking on a fashion/shopping website with stuff from korea, and they'll have designer mixed in with all of the more normal brands ((and you don't find out what it is, desicgner or not, until you take a closer look)) and I always end ub head-desking myself because the sweatshirt or whatever, I want is like 60 dollars because its made from a big name designer. Haha, no, you should be happy you're NOT related to him....I have an older sister that went to school to be a Nurse, she was head of her class student council every year, and senior year was student body president. OTL For years I could never impress my parents, always stuck in her shadow. I was not a happy Noodle....
And yeah...I know what you mean about the dumping...sigh...thats why I feel bad for the people that end up in those cubicle jobs and what not....I want to work, I mean I realize I need a career and all that, but I want it to be something worth my time....I want to enjoy it and make some kind of a difference, you know? Thats why I'm going with teaching. The greatest way to change the future is to teach the ones who will be living in it. ^v^ β₯
And yeah, people who treat the opportunity as a joke anger me so much! There are people like me out there that would give up a lot to be in their position. So when I hear stories about how some ESL teachers hardly teach their class, don't treat the kids and their co-workers well, URGH it makes me want to punch somebody! There are actually groups of people in different areas in Korea where ESL teachers are found, that investigate the teachers because they're afraid of what they might (or might not) be teaching their children.....it just makes me sad.
And as for becoming a fashion designer, I see no problem with that at all, I actually considered it once as a career myself. I mean, if your only mindset and plan is to make it big, then yeah, you're going to have a hard time. But you can work as an assistant or a professional stylist ((just think, you could style Korean Boy Bands XDD )) I mean, yeah, its not as obviously lucrative as a nurse, but thats a risk you take when you want to do something more on the artsy side....

Haha, yes, I do have some things up on my sister (and entire family really) My entire extended family all do sports....every single one of them. Yes, thats what I hate about American music...sex and auto-tune. =A= Its gotten to the point that when you go and see the same person you have a CD of in concert, it sounds totally different and horrible. Its like all they care about really is looks, and then they're like, "can't sing? NO PROBLEM. My Auto-tune will make you a star! " And yes I agree, the auto-tune in some K-pop songs is not as bad because they rock it out on stage as well. All those years of hard training have made them amazing, and they deserve to be up there! Yeah I saw BoA's new mv....I was actually kinda displeased with it. I love BoA and I love the song (so catchy) but when I saw the music video I was not very happy. Sense the plastic surgery, she never has looked like the same BoA....its like she lost part of her asian-ness, which made me sad, because I loved how pretty she was before. I also thought she could've handles a more complected dance as well, she has too much talent for that one. >w< I also didn't care to much for the majority of her outfits, I was like, BAW, something more flattering please!
But yes, she has lost a lot of weight, poor thing needs a night of buffet. >o<
