Description
This is sort of a prequel to the last drawing I did for my "Dune" AU where Barley died at the hands of the Gumm-Gumms/Sardarukar. He sees that the Harkonnen's foot soldiers have infiltrated the abandoned research station that Dr. Sisudatu had given him, Ian, and Lady Laurel refuge. Barley removes his gloves from his stillsuit and takes off his scarf before shouting out to the enemy, and turns back to face Ian, Laurel, and Sisu down the hall before pressing the button to shut and lock the door between the two hallways, and giving Ian a salute goodbye. Despite Ian's best efforts to get the door open while screaming Barley's name, it's all in vain and his brother-figure dies at the hands of the enemy soldiers in order to buy them some time to escape
