No longer able to withstand the crushing weight of the world built by man, The Hermit chose instead to retreat to the caves he explored in his youth. Youth. That was something The Hermit now could barely recall. He didn't know how much time had passed since he'd left the world of man behind. It didn't matter. He roamed the dark and dank caves for so long that eventually, they began to accept him as one of their own. Where once there were teeth and skin, now were replaced by grotesque and heavy formations of limestone and iron. Eventually, they consumed him entirely. Now, he shuffles slowly down tunnels, doomed to be crushed by the world itself.
