Haha thanks. Roses are romantic in symbolism so yeah I could see him being the most romantic that way. xD Don't forget to like the original that I commissioned, m'kay? All I did was color it.

Cool. Spike Rosered is my favorite Maverick in the entire Mega Man X series.
Yeah, I prefer to refer to the X5 bosses by their Japanese names, since I'm not very fond of the Guns N' Roses names.

I like both names; usually I combine the two these days in some capacity. Like for Spike, I use let the other name be his alias, since he's a thief and as a reploid people knowing his real name would be bad...

Yeah? Wonder what he's doin' there...
I have to admit that one of the main reasons I like him is that he's so unique as far as reploids go. I mean - a mutant reploid? Made from a 'nature control unit'(which I'm guessing is some device they use to regulate the spread of technoflora), some random reploid, and the Sigma virus? He literally has the virus integrated into his DNA, and he's neither sick, nor insane, nor malicious?
... Pardon me for ranting but why the hell did they kill this guy off?! They probably could've extracted a f*king CURE from his DNA and saved tons of lives, but no he gets killed because the person you're playing as is either too impatient to bargain with him for the orbiter engine(X), or is too busy self-defensing him to death to explain that his info about Repliforce was off(Zero). Seriously guys... You just killed off a potential cure for the most dangerous virus at that point in time, and quite possibly the only one. He's not even doing anything illegal at that point; he's some schmuck living in the jungle by his lonesome. :c

I guess it's due to the fact that I really, REALLY, love him.
Well, you could say the same thing about all the other Mavericks in the X series. And I agree with your points.
Although, there is a chance that Archie could make a Mega Man X comic series, akin to how they did the Classic Mega Man series.

Yeah. In truth there were very few truly viral mavericks in the X series. Some were also willing mavericks(which raises questions of free will & equality and that's not a can of worms I want to open), but most were just "mavericks" because it was convenient for the powers that be to call them that. Oh, Repliforce wants to go off and use some unpopulated part of the world to found a reploid only nation? Nope, can't discuss that peacefully... How do we - oh, these two random mavericks are causing shit? Let's say they're with Repliforce and sic the hunters on them. Problem solved.

Yeah. Although, Burn Dinorex (a.k.a Mattrex), for example, didn't seem to care that the Earth was gonna be in ruins no thanks to the Eurasia that was colliding with Earth.
Also, Gravity Beetle (from Mega Man X3) was likely not a victim of the Sigma Virus, since revenge was his only motivation (due to the death of his brother, Boomer Kuwanger).

Exactly. The only true 'virals' I can think of off the top of my head were Flame Hyenard(it literally drove him crazy with pain), Blast Hornet and some of the other X3 mavs, Cyber Peacock(who was technically not a reploid, but a digital AI), Split Mushroom, Volt Kraken/Squid Adler, Shining Hotarunicus/Izzy Glow(literally begged for death before being overtaken by it), possibly Frost Walrus, and the X6 and X8 bosses to varying degrees(and even then they're in a grey area). The others are either willing fighters, misunderstandings, or outright murder.
Gravity Beetle was particularly sad in my opinion. I mean, his brother gets killed in what amounts to a rebellion/war, and no one consoles him? Or helps him cope with the loss? This is his freaking brother. No shit he'd want revenge after a point, but it's a point that he could've easily been prevented from reaching, you know?

To some degree, Frost Walrus is the opposite of Blizzard Buffalo. He was a violent Maverick even before the Repliforce wars, as well as the only Repliforce member to genuinely be Maverick during the same event, while Blizzard Buffalo, even after being infected with the Maverick Virus, was a pacifist and was the only one of the infected Mavericks to technically not be a Maverick.
In fact, I felt sorry for Blizzard Buffalo, especially in the Rockman X manga (which was released only in Japan). At first, he was on a rampage and about to skewer X, but was stopped by a young human boy named Toshihiko. The two were very close friends, which was very heartwarming. But the sad part was that, in the Rockman X4 arc of the manga, he sacrificed himself to save X from Frost Walrus, at the cost of his own life. That moment had me crying because Blizzard Buffalo was a peace-loving artist. But at least Frost Walrus got what he deserved when General brutally shot him in order to save X's life. If Blizzard Buffalo were real, I would certainly be beside him, because like I said before, I sympathize with him.
