This is late, blah blah blah, but I figured I could add a few thoughts to the latest Batman craze. I should say up front that I never really liked Batman -- I'm much more of an X-Men gal myself. The Dark Knight was a good movie, sure, but saying it should win an Oscar for Best Film makes me cry a little inside. I feel the perfect film should take into account more than a few elements -- the score was excellent and the effects were top-notch, but I just can't compare it to, say, The Departed. It just doesn't seem right.

But now, if you want to talk about Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker: let me pick my jaw up off the floor and get back to you (aka: easily ranks amongst the best acting, SO GO SEE IT FOOL).
