Squee! I love Retro future stuff. Lot of 50's design lines, chrome, rocket packs and Ray guns. If you like your Retro Future with a little less chrome might I recommend Ignition city, which has a more gritty wild west feeling to it. But I digress....Helm is looking pretty flash in her RF Gear. Looks like you are having fun exploring costumes, which is awesome!Β

Futurama isn't retro future, it's science fiction. Jetsons is as retro future as it gets.

Hmmm... That actually gets me thinking on how exactly one would describe Futurama's genre. I personally wouldn't just classify it as science fiction alone, since it does such a fantastic job at paralleling their version of the future with our own modern problems, and how seemingly magnificent advancements in such a future inevitably carry the same cons our own technology has. It invokes a lot more thinking into its audience with its lore and satire, doesn't it? It's just too smart to pigeonhole into one genre, I say.

It's sci fi. Humoristic sci fi but still sci fi. Invoking thoughts about modern society into its audience is part of a lot of sci fi works.
