Character: Pearl
Materials: Minky
Size: Approx. 10" tall sitting
Pearl is made entirely out of minky with machine embroidered details. Her star is applique and her gem is an acrylic flat back pearl. This is definitely one of my absolute favorite plush i have made. She is part of my personal collection but I would be happy to make more. Lapis is up next.

What shade of minky did you use for her hair? I've been considering making a Pearl plushie of my own, but none of the minky colors I have swatches of seemed quite right for her hair color. Yours is great though!

Thank you. I remember you saying g awhile ago on tumblr you wanted to make SU plush. Yours would be so cute. I ended up using papaya for her hair. It's very different from the swatch on line. It's more the color you see here. I feel it works better then pink or orange.

Yeah, pink or orange just aren't right for her at all! I hadn't seen papaya yet in person so it's nice to see it used for something and not just a swatch online. It looks really good for Pearl's hair!

I'll either use that or Coral from Minky baby! Sadly, they don't stock that color anymore, but I bought a yard of it back when they still had it. I'm actually wondering how close Papya is to that after seeing your picture. It would be exciting if it is very similar since it's such a pretty color.
