Well, Bendy always says that he saw someone who looked like him in his dreams, who was looking directly at him... And Boris (in Ask that Bendy turns into an adult) says that he looks like Bendy's father... And the way Boris look to Bendy on that Ask... The shadow... Bendy's face...
Well, linking all this I say, that shadow is Bendy Adult, and that's what Bendy sees in his nightmares: He adult, and Boris is afraid that it will happen, when Bendy becomes adult he become some "monster" so he looks at Bendy that way. And Bendy himself is afraid of himself to become this "monster," and for the face that Bendy is doing, it seems that the shadow (according to my theory, Bendy Adult) is tormenting him, that is, he is having more of his nightmares... Poor Bendy...
Oh! Do not tell them this... It's our only secret...

I coulda sworn I commented on this when I saw it several days (weeks?) ago, BUT NOPE so I'm doing it now.
THIS IS SO SAD QAQ I love how much you can tell Boris cares about Bendy just from this little strip/ask and it pulls at my heart strings so much.
Now, about that shadow... Is there something within your gallery I've missed about the duo's past or is that shadow a metaphor for Bendy losing control and becoming a full-on demon? Either way it's tragic but I'm curious!
I read somewhere about a supposed story unfurling, just wondering; will that be revealed through these asks or will there be some sort of comic or written story? Or even just single images? I'm intrigued ouo

Story time!
I once needed to sleep for school in the morning, but I couldn't. Ya known your 'fight or flight' thing you have when your brain senses danger? That was on full blast! I don't know what was in my room that night, but I do know I didn't get to sleep until I passed out from exhaustion with a cross necklace and a bible under my pillow. That finale panel made me think of it.
