Description
2017 has been an amazing year in terms of games for me. In terms of my progress towards my dream career, it's been so-so. I finally worked on another video game project, for however brief that was, and have proceeded to make more fan arts and illustrations in my own weird way. So here is my recap for 2017.

JANUARY ~ Chapter 6 of Golden Sky Hero finally started.

FEBRUARY ~ Introduced the Leotaur race to Golden Sky Hero, and I got a surprising level of feedback from it. So far, they're my favourite race to draw in terms of variation, and perhaps in 2018 I'll draw all the races bundled together (Just one more to be made).

MARCH ~ Made the Sonic Stage Illustrations, where I drew certain characters in certain zones, as well drawing the title logo for those zones.

APRIL ~ Basically continued this fan art mini-project. It was fun, and I look forward to drawing more sometime.

MAY ~ Made fan art and designs for some friends, as well as made some proper artwork of the Bernumaids.

JUNE ~ Though I dabbled with Artie's sprite animation a little earlier in the year, at this point is where I redid the sprites and made their animations look more fluid and appropriate to put into a game. Unfortunately, since this month, I've been too tired and procrastinated in making more sprites. That will definitely change this year. It may just be because I was working on the storyboard for Chapter 8. I also drew more people and caricatures.

JULY ~ Made proper illustrations for Aquapiper Academy; so far my favourite stage in Golden Sky Hero. Chapter 7 of Golden Sky Hero also started around this time.

AUGUST ~ Dabbled in making actual Pixel Art. Was a fun practice; will probably try it again next year.

SEPTEMBER ~ The most productive month of the entire year for me because this is when I finally got to work on another game; Monster Ball. Even though all I did was just make cover art and illustrations for the game, even that made me so happy. Especially since my client found me on Behance, which means my networking on other sites must be working somewhat. Sadly, though more work was promised, I have yet to hear more from my client at the time of this upload. Also, doing this project was a great opportunity to use Adobe Illustrator, which is a program I should probably use more often.

OCTOBER ~ Some fan art done, but more importantly, I finally got into a Character Design Challenge on FaceBook (Special thanks to LuigiL for introducing me to it) and have been faithfully contributing to each month's contest since. And I will continue to do so from now on.

NOVEMBER ~ Started the Grandia Character series, as a way to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of my most beloved game of all-time. Sadly, I didn't realise that it would take me this long to draw all 14 main characters. I suppose working on the storyboard for Chapter 8 has been tiring me out.

DECEMBER ~ The Grandia Character series is still going on, and is still not finished yet. Time to get it all done in the next year!
