I know, I know, another bust shot drawing. But I'm still practicing my colouring, so please bear with me! I dunno what's going on with that hair though lol, but I'm pretty pleased with the rest of it. What do you guys think? Some feedback would be really appreciated ; ;

To be honest though, I wasn't even going to post this because virtually none of you know of Fate and even less of you know about my having Fate/characters. (Bar from some fellow fans who's had to listen to me rant about this character for quite a while now. Thanks guys! ) But she's quickly becoming my current muse and I'm having a lot of fun playing with the concept behind her creation.

Below is a quick summary of my thoughts when building her character. Feel free to ignore if it's not of your interest:

Mihaela was created as a result of my growing interest in a Fate/Magus - Darnic Prestone Yggdmillennia, and the dynamics behind his clans rise. What’s interesting about this family is that rather than thickening thaumaturgical potential through one’s own lineage, they swap and trade crests between each other in an attempt to keep their magic in the family, and also maintain the Yggdmillennia name as a whole. The family has a polluted bloodline and was prophesied to die out by the fifth generation, and as a result it caused the clan a lot of problems; Darnic in particular had suffered a loss of a marriage proposal into a powerful family and the clan was cut off from their dreams of rising to the ranks of the Lords. It was really quite devastating and a lot of this is what caused the Yggdmillennia clan to do what they did in the plot of Fate/Apocrypha. [Omitting the actual plot for spoiler reasons.] A small part of me was intrigued by the idea of pulling a full 180° on the whole “Yggdmillennia is a clan solely designed to take in other families rather than continue a single bloodline" by giving Darnic an illegitimate heir?

Sure he never got to marry into the family he wanted to because they turned their back on him, and his family abandoned common methods of carrying a lineage, but Darnic strikes me as the kind of person who would try and cover *all* the bases in order to beat the polluted bloodline he carries. It probably wasn’t even a planned baby (and initially he’s very against the pregnancy) but he’ll warm up to the idea when he realises that the child will simply be another stepping stone towards his eventual success. Thus, Mihaela was created born! She's going to go through a lot, poor thing. But I'll go into more detail if/when I throw together a bio for her. ;D
