Underneath the Icy World

So a while ago on the new Year, I've posted a picture with a person I worked with that feature multiple characters in multiple suits showcasing great details that I will use for future commissions as the work was more for concept sheets giving us a few angles that you can look at as well as removable equipment to showcase all the minor details and so far it's been doing a good job and while those two were expensive to get, they were worth it...

So why not one more

Yep, I decided to ask テミスの嘆き and the team for one more reference sheet because they done such a good job so might as well work them one more time. So the previous reference sheets that I worked on were different equipment as the first one was LAMA gear with and the second one was Astrogirl Spacesuit with a different character. This time it's...more LAMA gear...well I mean they are both my favorite gear in terms of scuba and spacesuit so why would I change equipment However there main difference this time for LAMA gear is the suit as we have a drysuit with it's main purpose is to keep the diver dry and warm during a dive in cold waters which is good because we are literally under the ice as you can't get colder than that. As for the diver that I want to showcase this time, I went with Naoko Yanagisawa from Cardcaptor Sakura. Why her and not Meiling? Because if I were to do that, people would call me predictable So I mixed it up and gave the role to Naoko who is my favorite side character of the series and yes part of that is because her glasses are comically big and I think she's adorable

So back to the drysuit. This actually isn't the first time you actually seen this drysuit on my gallery because I colored a Cardcaptor Sakura LAMA picture a while ago featuring characters with this same drysuit and I'm pretty sure that some people would guess where this suit comes from. I just like the suit designs compared to other drysuits I've seen and the team managed to upgrade the suit a bit more to be more closer to how drysuit's are usually designed. But you got your standard drysuit specs including an air hose that goes into the chest of the suit with air being able to escape on the left shoulder but it makes the suit a bit puffy if you compared it to the other LAMA version. There's also her gloves which look more high tech now and prevent any water from entering which is cool (which is good because the last thing you need is to have hands literally be cool ). Finally there's her boots as I wanted a version without fins so that the diver (which in this case Naoko) would walk on the underwater floor. It's doable to move around without any issues but it is tricky. But the team managed to give her flippers as well which was nice of them to give me one more piece of equipment, it's just for now in this picture, it's just her boots.

Like the previous time with this style of picture, I've asked my good friend Evgnm to make a background for Naoko that would fit her drysuit and he did it pretty well adding an ice ceiling and something for her to walk on. Sure it would be a bit annoying to get back to the surface but Naoko was riding on a crane that she can hop onto to lift her out of the freezing waters and as I said, it pretty great ^^

*NOTE! As a heads up, there is an expression for Naoko that I would of like to put into this picture to fit her curiosity but the expressions I've asked for haven't arrived yet. So I'm just posting this here for now and I'll update the picture when I get it. This part of the description will be deleted once I updated this picture with the intended expression. So because this is the only time you get the see the full version with this expression, better download it*

And that's everything. And before you ask, no there isn't going to be a 4th outfit as I'll stick with those three. If I have the chance to put more characters in these outfits then sure but with no way of doing it so it's just this for now. Still like with the other characters and outfits, I can put Naoko in the regular LAMA gear and even the Astrogirl suit.

Anyways hope you like it ...What? Why are you people looking at me like that?...*looks at the gallery as the last normal posting outside of birthdays being the end of January*...oh...right. I guess enough time has pass since I posted color commissions regularly and I have plenty of pictures now so...starting Monday I'll resume posting. Thanks for waiting by the way
