Banshee sang of Death, not just of the end of life itself but of the end of a cycle, an era, a time,
In the moonlit shadows, the dragons saw the graves of their handlers,
Grief gripped their hearts and clouded their minds like the fog rolling in,
they wept at their loss.
For the song sang,
the loss of being cared for, of companionship,
for not being there, in the final moments of their friends,
out fighting on the battlefield, not there to support them or protect them,
the loss of honor, dignity and above all else the loss of _loyalty_
"Lost!" it wailed it, it screamed, uttered in a fevered frenzy,
slowly to consume the minds of the dragons and two not looked up and saw the Fog of the Lost pouring from Banshee's mouth herself.
