Ok... this is the original cover for the upcoming issue 17 of Huntik Magazine, but you won't be seeing it.

While we were halfway across the process of making this issue, Rainbow changed its mind because they decided to adapt the comic book to the new second season of the tv show, soon to be aired on tv.

So, this cover was discarded and replaced with a new one featuring Lok in a different costume and a titan from the second season which does not even appear in the story. You can see it here [link] I'll spare you the mess this decision caused because it involved contradictory directives and more wasted work.

Though I completely understand the need to keep the comic in line with the show, I can't help disagreeing with putting on the cover some titan not featured in the story, especially when we had this new legendary titan Kronos showing himself here. I'm only afraid the new cover will look very much out of context. However, work is work and the customer is always right, even when it wants to hurt himself.

In this issue Lok and Sophie are hurled in the late XVII century by the legendary titan Kronos and must find their way back, eventually correcting the past to change the future.

I really did like the story plot, especially because it's based on a whole new situation never seen in Huntik, I just wish it didn't have some big bugs spoiling it; but then again, rewriting half a script in the hurry of a few days in the middle of summer wasn't easy for the poor writers, so in my opinion the defects are justified.

I'll post some pages as soon as the issue comes out, around September-October.
