Because they never made it available outside Italy, even though a lot of fans in other countries would have liked to read it.

A bit yes, they asked to use him as reference.

So, does this mean that Kronos will appear in the show? I certainly hope so- he looks wicked. And when is season 2 coming out?

Wait, let me get this straight...You illustrate a comic book that's been made into a tv show?

Nope, the tv show has been made into a comic book with parallel storyline.

Generally speaking titans are able to think but don't talk. If they communicate, they do so telepathically only with the seeker that owns them.
Cherit makes an exception as he was unbound from his amulet a long time ago.

I'm almost disappointed by that, I think I preferred the notion that the Titans were, essentially, spells, they weren't sentient in their own right, they were tools given form by magic, so Springer might look like a raccoon/tanuki, but wasn't actually alive, rather "he" was a lockpick spell that the magician made into a handy shape. Sabriel was an attack/defence spell which looks human(ish) etc...
Otherwise I think you tend to end up in the same sort of vibe as Pokemon, whose underlying story has always appeared to be "Humans making captive animals stay inside tiny little balls, only to come out to fight each other for entertainment", which never quite felt right to me.
Oh well, the Titans have terrific designs anyway, and the puzzle solving aspects of Seeker-dom are fun.

My sentiments exactly. I've thought many times what would happen if titans were to start thinking of themselves as free-willed individuals instead of slaves. It's the kind of starting plot I would really like to develop a new season of the comic book on, but apparently no one ever thinks we can do something more with this series than dig the titan-fight bad guys-get the titan.
